The Cavalla International University National Alumni Association (CIUNAA) serves as the Ambassador Arm of the University existing to extol the virtues of Alma Mater. The National Alumni Association should be empowered to assist the administration in shaping the image and future directions of the institution. The CIUNAA will exercise recruitment initiatives in an effort to promote the University to prospective students. The CIUNAA will foster positive relationships in and among its membership and will work with the University to aid in the growth and development of its students and the institution. The CIUNAA will serve as facilitators in the ongoing effort of providing financial support to the University and to assist the University in its many fundraising efforts.

CAVALLA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION 

The Cavalla International University Development Foundation (CIUDF) is a separate 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization governed by a Board of Trustees and exists to support the mission of Cavalla International University by encouraging, facilitating, and promoting the growth, progress, and general welfare of the university. CIUDF serves as the repository for all charitable gifts designated for the benefit of the university and its programs.

The purpose of CIUDF is to promote the general welfare and educational mission of Cavalla International University (CIUDF) has established as its primary mandate the acquisition of scholarship gift income to respond to the needs of worthy students seeking a college degree at Cavalla.

As an independent philanthropic fundraising organization, the Cavalla International University Development Foundation (CIUDF) plays a crucial role in fostering, facilitating, and advancing the overall well-being, progress, and growth of Cavalla International University.

Cavalla International University, a Historically Diverse Institution in a dynamic multicultural setting, serves a multi-generational student population and provides education opportunities while promoting lifelong learning. The university fosters leadership, social responsibility, civic and community engagement, cultural diversity and inclusion, and economic development.

                                                       ALUMNI PLEDGE
 
For all inspiration Alma Mater has brought me through the years that are past, and for all the brightness that Alma Mater will shed along my path in the future, continuing to give direction and meaning to my life in order that I might help others find meaning in living and serving, I am grateful.
And for these gifts, I pledge everlasting loyalty, love and devotion.
Always I shall be a faithful and active member of the Association of Alma Mater and shall do all within my power to support her plan, spread her name abroad, and expand her membership, and keep her first among all organizations.
The CIUNAA will:
*Exercise recruitment initiatives in an effort to promote the University to prospective students.

*Foster positive relationships in and among its membership and will work with the University to aid in the growth and development of its students and the institution.    
*Serve as facilitators in the ongoing effort of providing financial support to the University and to assist the University in its many fundraising efforts.

JOIN A COMMITTEE

Event Planning: In conjunction with the Office of Alumni Engagement, this committee will plan all CIUNAA events including the Annual Meeting, and Homecoming Activities. 

Scholarship and Financial Request: Review financial requests from on-campus and off-campus groups, and recommend whether or not financial assistance should be provided; develop criteria for the CIUNAA scholarship and ensure it is awarded to Cavalla students.
Fundraising: This committee works in conjunction with the Office of Alumni Engagement and is responsible for developing programs to raise money for CIUNAA. The committee will identify the fundraising purpose for approval by the Executive Board and use fundraising tactics that are suitable and appropriate for the programs developed.
Nominations, Awards, and Special Recognition: This committee will identify alumni to receive awards and special recognition both internally and externally. This committee will also be responsible for identifying those individuals whom the CIUNAA will honor each year.
Volunteer: This committee will coordinate alumni volunteerism in collaboration with the Office of Alumni Engagement.
Membership: Responsible for organizing membership drives; coordinate a yearly membership mailing in collaboration with the Office of Alumni Engagement.
Constitution and Bylaws: In cooperation with the Executive Board and the Director of Alumni Engagement, this committee is responsible for executing all revisions and proposed amendments to the constitution and bylaws of CIUNAA.
